Ocelot 125, powerful and lightweight, the most natural eMTB.

ocelot 125

Fast trail bike, suitable for gnarly terrain with just the right amount of perfectly tuned travel.

Ocelot 125 eMTB, lightweight, full power e-mountain bike, Maxon Air S motor

160 / 125 mm of travel

That is all you need for fast trail riding. Welcome in the world of endless grip and silky smooth rides.

Ocelot 125 eMTB, 16.4kg, full power e-mountain bike, with PUMA suspension and 125mm travel

starting at 16.4kg

If you choose lightweight components, you can get to 16.4kg for a full bike. If you tune the bike into a capable trail bike with alloy wheels, you end up around 18.8kg.

the most natural

The brand new maxon AIR S drive unit feels like you ride an analogue bike. But gives you up to 4 times more power. In silence.

efficient and reliable

maxon’s drives are used in robots, vehicles, and devices all over the world – and even in the Mars NASA rover Perseverance.

powerful drive

90Nm of torque, a maximum output of 620W and only 2kg. Every climb feels like great fun.

integrated battery

A 400Wh lithium-ion battery of only 1.8kg is integrated in the down tube. With an impressive drive efficiency of 83% this is plenty for great epic rides.

long rides

Take a 250Wh range extender or the 6A fast charger to extend your rides.

extremely smooth

We brought our patented PUMA suspension to the Ocelot and even managed to improve it at some points.

endless amount of grip

Thanks to our multilink design we could tweak the leverage ratio independently from other kinematic factors. Something other brands can only dream of.

LLU MAX bearings

All bearings in the Ocelot are high-end extra wide Enduro bearings, with grade 10 balls and full-contact, double-lip, labyrinth seals.

no rattling

Cable routing is completely guided for noiseless riding and easy maintenance. And no, no headset cable routing.

protectors

The rubber motor cover is built to handle hard impacts and to keep dirt and dust out of the frame.

geometry

Slack, long and fully focused on giving you maximum confidence.

Carbon fibre monocoque with 125mm of rear travel. PUMA suspension system. Internal cable routing. Rockers, links and pivot axles from AL7075. Post Mount 180 mm brake system. Max tire width: 2.6”. The frame is UDH compatible.

The frame set comes with e*thirteen Helix Core Alloy Cranks, 165 mm.

The frame set comes with Acros head set bearings with block-lock.

A Fox Transfer 150mm dropper post will sink completely into the seat tube of a medium frame size. A Fox Transfer 180mm dropper post will sink completely into the seat tube of a large or extra large frame size.

Maxon AIR S bikedrive. Max torque of 90Nm, max power output of 620W with 85% efficiency. Motor weight: 2kg

Build-in 400Wh battery. An external range extender of 250Wh can be attached onto the frame.

Maxon controller integrated in the top tube, minimalist switch on the handle bar to change drive modes and a Maxon App to change technical setttings.

The frame itself is 3.1 kg, a complete frame set with motor, battery, controller, cables, rear axle, sensors and head tube bearing is 7.5 kg.

Depending on components the weight of a full bike will range from 16.4 kg - 18.8 kg in size LG, without pedals.

120kg is the maximum rider weight limit, which includes the gear and luggage (helmet, clothing, backpack, etc.)

Riding in medium or boost support mode you can manage around 1.100 - 1.400 meters of elevation gain on a full battery. Obviously elevation gain depends greatly on riding style, terrain and rider weight.

10 years on the frame for the original buyer the general terms and conditions apply.

24 months of warranty, covering defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover damage resulting from improper use, such as overload, incorrect voltage, or unauthorized repairs.

progressive

We have given the Ocelot a progressive character. How progressive a bike is depends primarily on the regression of the leverage ratio combined with the progressiveness of the air shock.

The leverage ratio decreases during the travel. This way the suspension is supple and sensitive around sag, yet big hit capable. Plush with little risk of bottoming out.

efficient

The PUMA suspension on the Ocelot gives an anti-squat value that is more or less the same in all gears. At sag the Ocelot 125 has an anti-squat value of 115% in the granny gear and 108% in the most heavy gear. This compensates for 100% of pedal bob induced by the pedal torque and some extra to account for your body movement on the bike.

Anti-squat values come down throughout the bikes’ travel to create less pedal pop deeper in the travel. In normal language this means that the platform is efficient in all gears during a climb or sprint, yet very lively when going downhill.

fully active

The Ocelot 125 benefits from little pedal kickback. Especially at high speed, in heavier gears kickback is negligible.

This means the suspension remains fully active and sensitive during quick descends, even when pedaling.

sensitive

When you brake, the center of gravity shifts forward causing the fork to compress and the rear suspension to extend or compress, depending on the anti-rise value.

The Ocelot 125 has anti-rise levels between 84 - 99% throughout the bikes’ suspension travel. In effect this stops you and the bike from tilting forward under hard braking. At the same time levels around 100% allow the suspension to remain active and sensitive throughout your braking zone.

smooth

The Ocelot has a near vertical axle-path during the first half of the travel. This is the part of the suspension travel that you use most during very fast sections.

When the vectors from trail obstacles and the wheel path are more in line this results in the suspension being compressed rather than the bike being ‘held back’. You will feel this as smoothness of the suspension.
